Florida is at a breaking point.

Florida is currently facing a profound affordability crisis. Our property insurance market is the most volatile in the nation, forcing seniors out of their homes and making homeownership an impossible dream for the next generation. From skyrocketing grocery prices to utility rates driven up by the unchecked expansion of Big Tech data centers—the “Data Center Donalds” agenda—our infrastructure is being strained while everyday Floridians pay the bill.

The environmental damage caused by these data centers is only the beginning. MAGA leadership continues to flirt with the dangerous prospect of offshore drilling. In an era of global energy instability, highlighted by tensions in the Strait of Hormuz, we cannot afford to gamble our coastline for short-term political gains that threaten our tourism economy and natural heritage. We need a sustainable energy policy that protects our shores, not one that sells them to the highest bidder.

The Republican record on education has been one of systematic erosion. Instead of investing in our students and teachers, leadership has focused on unconstitutional theater and the suppression of academic freedom. Simultaneously, we have witnessed a coordinated attack on the rights of minority populations. Under Byron Donalds and the MAGA movement, the protections that ensure every Floridian can live with dignity and equality are being dismantled.
